The pedigree herd (AIREDALE ANGUS) has been growing over the las 10 years , no’s now in the 170s we have been growing the herd keeping the best genetics year on year. We have been investing heavily in genetics buying some of the best cows in the business. Now with modern farming practice we harvest embryos out of our best cows and implant into surrogates to improve the herd only keeping the best of the best. Even down to scanning the cattle for taste and tenderness. This is a good way to improve our cattle maintaining the beef quality is at the top.

Two Shadwell Evoras purchased  Autumn 2022 at Skipton CCM Auctions to introduce some new bloodlines to our breeding practice.

One of our home bred cows Airedale Kinannie sold to Oakmoor Angus in November for 5000 guineas.

Airedale Evano one of our past herd sires .

Another Airedale stock bull . Airedale Mr Essential His blood lines are up there with the best.

These pedigree calves born spring time . Grouping together,  planning some mischief. Will hopefully produce more quality breeding stock for the future.

Some of the purchases from a few years back off the Moss herd have provided us with some good pathfinding cows to build the herd off.
