Here are some of the texel x mule sheep we run on the farm , and find they’re well suited for our land, and seem to always be in good condition the year round. They also produce a good quality fat lamb when sired by the suffolk tups.

We have invested in 4 new breeding rams (tups) this year two texel and two suffolks, hopefully they will prove cost effective. We will know next spring if our purchaces have paid off
A few pictures from lambing time. We started on the first of March, with it been a colder season, we kept the lambs inside until 3 or 4 days old to give them a good strong start in life. This also gets them familiar with their mothers.
